Poor Rosie

Well, we were trying to be good friends/neighbors and take care of this poor dog, Rosie, while her owners were in Europe.  Koda, our perfect dog, got jealous and attacked her!  They have always been friends.  It  was scary and sad.  Fortunately, Rosie was not hurt too bad.  We comforted her as much as we could.

We were helping to take care of this cute dog that lives in our neighborhood while her owners were in Europe.  This was all BEFORE the attack . . .

 

 They really did get along great so it was so surprising when Koda attacked poor Rosie.

Our neighbor Mary Schmuhl's farewell

Derek and one of his best friends, Sam Schmuhl.  This was for Sam's sister, Mary's, mission farewell.  I am so proud of her.  She will touch so many lives, including her own family and her own.  I hope to write her while she is on her mission.  I can't wait to hear all about her wonderful experience sharing the gospel.

Fun "Nerd Night" for the boys

 Hannah is driving the boys (and Koda) to "Nerd Night".  They get to play "Dungeons and Dragons at a former youth leader's home.  It is so nice, these boys are so similar.  They get along so incredibly well.  They all enjoy the same things.

Derek and his "spirit brother", Nick

I just love this picture of my crazy kids.  This is Nick and Derek.  Nick calls me his "spirit mom".  I love it!  So I call him my "spirit son".  He is so, so kind.  I am so glad he is in the neighborhood as well as Sam.  I hope he will remain in the neighborhood for a long, long time.
