Happy St. Patrick's Day

We had fun making green waffles and celebrating together. I bought St. Patrick's day shirts for Hannah and Derek. We could use some more celebrating in our lives. It was fun to get this project for them. I knew that they would love it and that is part of the joy in doing something is knowing and anticipating the joy that they show when they get it. We had a great day! Derek and I made green waffles this morning. We had so much fun doing that together. It is so important to celebrate and have reasons to laugh and great memories to share. The night before I decorated each of the kids rooms. I got rainbow ribbon and little rainbow footprint stickers (leprechaun footprints), and a pail painted green with a gold shamrock on it. I found some gold coins with chocolate and some chocolate that looked like gold rocks. I put the chocolates in the green pail & hung the rainbow ribbon over the pail. I also found great Irish quote and stickers to put on a card I made. The kids sure did love it and I loved doing it for them. I love being able to do things and having them receive what I give with graciousness & appreciation.
