Visiting cousin Adrienne at BYU

 We had a great time with Adrienne checking out her great dorm room in New Heritage at BYU. 

Great memories here for me.  I loved going to school here.  It is great to see Adrienne here.  She is so friendly with us.  We don't see her as often as I would like but she is friendly with Hannah and invites her to stay with her on campus and to go with her to functions. 

Hannah's first drive by herself

Wow, the day came!  Hannah got her drivers license.  This is her first drive by herself, what a great girl.  I am so proud of her.  She has been such a joy. 

Visit with Smith Family

 We didn't get many photos from this last visit but it was a great time as usual.  It is so important to have people in your life that love you.  A place to go that is safe and familiar.  I am so grateful for family that loves us.  This picture is such a great reminder of that love.  Derek is surrounded by family that love him, that are safe, and familiar.  Such an over looked trait and blessing by many but definitely not by me.  I crave and need this and am so grateful for my family that supplies this without even knowing of the impact they have in my life and my kids lives.  Thank you!

Scout Camp

Trying to stay warm in the garage for a scout camp.  What an ingenious idea.  They had boxes and carpets inside the boxes to help them stay warm.  And of course a lot of hot chocolate.

Hannah's Sweet 16th Birthday party!

 Hannah helped me to tie her own birthday blanket.  She saw me starting it and immediately jumped in and volunteered to help me.  We had a great time tying this blanket together.

Fun snow day with Derek

Derek has so many talents, one of them is enjoying the moment to the fullest.  We can learn a lot from him and this very often time over looked and under rated talent.  This is number 90004531 reason why I love him!
