On our way to Whistler. Uncle Stuart invited us along with Grandma and Grandpa to come for the weekend with him. I was a little hesitant at first because Uncle Stuart is very
athletic and I'm well... not. I'm so glad he talked us into going, we had an amazing time! The whole experience was beautiful!
This was the kids first time in Canada. They were so excited, we kept practicing the language like saying "good day eh".

A shot to show even more of the amazing view

The whole gang, Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Derek and Hannah (and Uncle Stuart behind the camera)

Right in the Village of Whistler. This is where the Winter Olympics took place.

Watching Uncle Stuart and all the other athletic types biking down the hill.

An activity that I was
definitely good at. We rode the
gondola to experience the fantastic view. We ended up
seeing a mother bear and her cub right below us. We were so glad we were several yards up from her!

Just more of the breathtaking view we were able to share together as a family and
extended family. I am just so grateful we can have so many beautiful unique experiences together. I sometimes still can't believe that I am able to do the things with my family that I can.

Just a picture of us with the
Canadian flag.

On our way to get on the
gondola. In hind sight we should have had a better plan for picture taking because we missed Stuart and Hannah in getting them on with us and they had to get on the next one. . . .

What a view to share together.

I love this picture with Hannah and my Mom and I.

The river down the the right of Hannah and I was the river we zip lined over. The picture does not do the view justice.

Derek learning how to zip line. He REALLY wanted to go. He talked me in to going. I really did not want to go at first. I was nervous that I needed to be athletic and or strong (which I am none of). But fortunately he talked me into it. If you can walk downstairs and sit down, you can zip line. Both of these I can do.

Here is my fearless Hannah learning, although she had already done some zip lining with Young Women

On our way to our way to our adventure.

This tree is over 800 years old! How impressive is that! We were so lucky.

Hannah out on her zip line. She videoed the whole experience, Derek and I too.

What a spectacular view!

Here goes the person responsible for all our fun, I am so glad he talked me into it. Thank you Derek!

Another great view

this is a great shot to see where we started with this particular zip.

Here is a great shot that Hannah got for us. It shows the Liken (I have no idea how to spell that). It only grows 1 millimeter a year! So think about how old each strand is! Talk about seeing history right in front of us!

There goes Derek

Each picture shows such beautiful scenery. As beautiful as the pictures are it was a million times better in person.

Unfortunately our camera did not cooperate in giving us the quality of pictures that this spectacular place deserved.

Derek and our guide getting him ready to zip again.

Derek going
UPSIDE DOWN! He is such a daredevil!

Now Hannah upside down! Even I went upside down! (But I had the camera)

A view of the bottom part of the mountain bike course that Stuart did

The view from our hotel, again, quite amazing!

Just outside of Whistler

Some great views we couldn't pass up on our way back to Uncle Stuart's house.

With Grandma and Grandpa

Mom, Hannah, Grandmaa and Uncle Stuart

Derek said that he can't sleep in cars. . . Here's the proof son

These are professional shots of us zip lining. Much better quality and better positioning to see the beauty

Wasn't that awesome? It was made even more awesome by being able to share with you all.
